The Mount Hagen Cultural Show, held at the Kagamuga showground each August, is the Western Highlands' great sing-sing and the older sibling of Goroka's. Groups from Hagen, Enga, the Southern Highlands and further afield perform in traditional dress, and the show is small enough that visitors can walk among the groups as they prepare.
