You can cancel for a full refund until 24 hours before your service date begins — midnight in the operator's country, the night before. After that, a change or refund is up to the operator. The same rule applies to every operator on BukNau, and you see it before you pay.
If the operator cancels — a flooded room, a vehicle off the road — you are refunded in full however late it happens. The window only applies when you are the one cancelling.
Refunds are paid by the operator straight to your bank account, the same way you paid, and must be sent within 7 days. Your booking page shows the refund's progress: owed, sent by the operator, and received once you confirm it has arrived. If an operator misses the deadline, BukNau stops them taking new bookings until they send it, and emails you to say we are chasing it.
An unpaid booking can be cancelled from your booking page at any time before you pay. Security deposits on hire cars and charters are separate from the price and are returned after the hire.
